I am using Windows VISTA from quite long time . Their is one feature which i noticed in vista only which was not present in XP. Their is very good feature in VISTA of instant search which work when your start menu is not in classic mode i.e. when it is in Start mode. When you search for cmd prompt in start search in bottom , you will see cmd at top of search and when you click Right click then you can see an option to Run it as an administrator, by seeing this i doubted as i am logged in through administrator then who is this another administrator and then I found this ” How to unlock Hidden administrator account in vista “. Below are the steps to follow to unlock the account.

Note : To check the effect after all following below steps check the user account your system .

Step 1) Select Menu mode in VISTA

Right click on Taskbar > Properties > Start menu > Start mode > ok

Step 2) Search for cmd on start search

Step 3) Right click on cmd and run it as an administrator

Step 4) Check out the command prompt that is in administrator access or not by checking the top left corner of command prompt.

Step 5) use the below command to activate administrator account.

Step 6) Check the user accounts by going in the control panel and check out the change.

Step 7) Don’t forgot to set a password for this account to avoid any wrong use.

Step 8) To deactivate the account use the below command.

Now you can be the real administrator of your system.
